LAWN MAINTENANCE

Professional lawn care by Gardenin' Angels can help you achieve a  lush lawn by eliminating crabgrass, clover, dandelions and other weeds and by ensuring your lawn is free of disease and damaging insects. Proper lawn care includes seeding, fertilization, weeding, grub and other insect protection and grass cutting. We provide custom lawn care services by assessing your landscape conditions and its unique attributes and challenges to develop a lawn care plan that ensures you'll have a healthy, gorgeous lawn.

SEASONAL CLEANUPS​

Spring and fall cleanups include removal of brush and debris, trimming of trees and shrubs, mulching, leaf blowing and removal, lawn mowing and edging, weeding, planting, thatch removal, watering of plants/trees, garden bed clean-out. We are prompt and fast while ensuring meticulous cleanup.

Spring and fall cleanups

Removal of brush and debris, leaf blowing and removal, lawn mowing and edging, and thatch removal.

Aeration & Overseeding

Aeration involves adding small holes to the lawn, so that nutrients and water can reach the lawn’s roots.

Overseeding is placing seeds over the bare patches of your aerated lawn to promote additional grass growth and thicken the turf.

Shrub trimming and pruning ​​

Shrubs are trimmed so that they are neat and not touching your house or other other structures to prevent water intrusion and pest access to your house.

Trees are cut ("pruned") for safety as well as for aesthetics.

Mulching

New mulch is added to tree and shrub beds.

The key to controlling grubs is to kill them before they hatch and begin to cause damage to your lawn.

​Lime application

Lime is applied to restore balance to overly acidic soil. Low soil pH (or highly acidic soil) inhibits the lawn's absorption of nutrients. Applying lime restores the balance in low pH soil so that your lawn gets the nutrients it needs to be as lush and thick as possible.

Irrigation Maintenance

In the late fall, we winterize sprinkler systems by:

1. Shutting down the the controller (automatic timers).
2. Shutting off the water flow.
3. Draining the pipes.

In the late spring/early summer, the timer is turned and sprinkler activity is visually inspected.
